MUN Altair Pilot: First pilot of virtual MUN where we took part with the Prescott Debate Club. Our students of 7th and 8th grades interacted with students of other schools in Peru, discussing topics of worldwide relevance.
Cambridge College Virtual MUN: MUN organized by Cambridge College in Lima. Our delegation of 5 students represented us, and had the chance to do research and debate in English and Spanish with students from all over Peru.
“Juana de Arco” School Debate Competition: A competition of international debate with 12 motions that had to be researched deeply by the 3 students who represented us.
PIMUN (Peru International Model United Nations): International Model United Nations where we participated in several committees in English and Spanish.
Also, our teachers, representing Schools, participated in the First BEO International Summit, an important international event with conferences in English and Spanish given by experts from several parts in the world on virtual education and its challenges.
Without a doubt, experiencing this time of competitions in a virtual context presents a great challenge that brings along lots of learning and experience to our students and coaches. From home, we salute and congratulate the enthusiasm and commitment our students are evidencing!
